Mary Jeanette Albertson, 76, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away on 8:13 AM on Wednesday February 13, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.
She was born June 17th, 1942 in Loogootee to Henry and Mary (Pettigrew) Jones, one of five children. Mary Jeanette was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Loogootee, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and The Moose Auxiliary.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Jones, brothers; John T. Jones and James B. Jones, both of Loogootee.
She is survived by her son Philip M (Lisa) Jahn of Ferdinand, her daughter Brenda J. Radcliffe – Spiller of Newburgh, her grandchildren; Demi Jahn of Ferdinand, Tiffany Radcliffe and Jim Spiller of Newburgh, Nicole (Nate) Gillespie of San Diego, CA, her great- grandchildren; Lavande and Lennox Gillespie of San Diego, CA, her siblings; Jane Bruner of Loogootee, Marty Scott of Palmyra, and her special cousin Emma Engleman of Loogootee.
As a final act of giving she is a donor to the Indiana University School of Medicine for the Anatomical Education Program for the advancement of medical education and research.
There will be no viewing or visitation. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Loogootee at 11:00 A.M on Wednesday February 20, 2019.
