Officials say it is illegal to blow grass, leaves, or other yard waste into streets or alleys unless it is immediately removed. The department also notes that it does not collect bagged grass, leaves, or yard waste. Residents can bring those materials to the Street Department or Recycling Center on Memorial Avenue, while the department will accept call-in requests for limb pickup only.
