The Washington Common Council is set to meet Monday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. According to the agenda, council members will consider a resolution authorizing a transfer of funds within the Park Non-Reverting Fund. They will also hold the final reading of an ordinance related to fees for the city’s animal control and adoption facility. Additional discussion items include a draft proposal tied to the Outrigger Industrial development and continued talks regarding an interlocal agreement between animal control and the Daviess County Commissioners. Following the council meeting, the Board of Public Works and Safety will convene. Items on that agenda include requests for a Fourth of July parade by the American Legion and a street closure on Northwest 1st Street for the annual “Rock the Block Party” scheduled for June 6.
