The Washington Police Department has added a new officer to its ranks. Yesterday, Mayor David Rhoads officially swore in Zachary King as the department’s newest officer. King is a 2014 graduate of Washington High School and recently completed training at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 2025. Police officials are welcoming King to the department as he begins his service with the community.
