Christine E. Welton, 49, of Washington, passed away at 8:35 p.m. Friday at her residence.
She was born Nov. 15, 1965, in Washington, to John and Doreen (Grigsby) Edwards.
Christine worked in patient accounts at Daviess Community Hospital, enjoyed camping and fishing, and was a member of the Wheatland Christian Church.
Surviving is her husband, Craig Welton, whom she married in July of 2001; her father and step-mother, John and Sharon Edwards of Wheatland; her children, Brandon Knight of Vincennes, Megan (Donny) Howard of Wheatland, Daniel Welton of Vincennes, and Ashton (Zachary) Siewers of Vincennes; and her granddaughter, Raelynn Howard.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
