Downtown Shoals Pavilion Now Offers Free Public WiFi Thanks to Grant

martin-alliance

The Martin County Alliance for Economic Growth has completed the second phase of a broadband improvement project funded by a $28,218 MHS Serves Grant. The latest addition brings free public WiFi to the new downtown pavilion in Shoals. Earlier this year, phase one of the project brought WiFi access to the city park, and new laptops were also delivered to the Shoals Library through the same grant. RTC Communications provided the high-speed internet connection, and the grant was written by Ted Hardesty, digital fellow with the Southern Indiana Development Commission. The Alliance served as grant sponsor. To access the new pavilion WiFi, connect to the network: parkwifi and use password: L00g00t33.
