The 2025 Wimbledon tournament got going yesterday and will run through the Women’s singles final on Saturday, July 12 and the Men’s singles final on Sunday, July 13. In the women’s bracket Aryna Sabalenka is the top seed and Coco Gauff is seeded #2. On the men’s draw Jannik Sinner is the top-seed and Carlos Alcaraz is seeded second. The winners of Wimbledon in 2025 will receive £3,000,000. That’s an increase of 11.1 percent compared to last year’s prize pool. That converts to just over 4 million. The WNBA continues to grow at a rapid pace. The league announced Monday that three new teams are coming to the WNBA: Cleveland, Detroit and Philadelphia. The new Cleveland team will start play in 2028, with Detroit starting in 2029 and Philadelphia starting in 2030.
