Nathaniel Lowe homered for the fifth time in six games and Andrew Abbott pitched six strong innings as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Colorado Rockies 6-4 on Thursday to take two of three in the series.
Two first inning homeruns by JJ Wetherholt and Jordan Walker spotted the Cardinals to an early 3-0 over Paul Skenes, who would ultimately require 100 pitches to make it through five innings. The Cardinals would go on to beat the Pirates 10 to 5.
