Evansville North fires a 285 to capture their amazing 9th straight regional title. Castle was second with a 292 and Bloomington South finished 3rd with a 307 who advanced in a tiebreaker over Jasper.

Peyton Blackard from Gibson Southern is the individual regional champion. The Senior fired a 5 under 67 to tie Jaspers Caleb Schnarr and Castles Brayden Lamborne and then won the title in a 2 hole playoff. Blackard, Schnarr and Grayson Coughlin from Memorial are the individuals advancing on to the state championships. Barr Reeve’s Lincoln Miller shot a 76 and Pike Central’s Cameron Roy shot 77

U.S. Open: Round 1 tee times at Oakmont
All eyes were on Scottie Scheffler as he teed off in the afternoon wave of the 125th U.S. Open. But the world No. 1 struggled in Round 1, carding a 3-over 73. That leaves him seven shots back of leader J.J. Spaun, who went bogey-free in his round of 66.
As for Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau, it was a grind, with both struggling to remain in contention after their first rounds. DeChambeau is in with a 3-over 73, while McIlroy shot a 4-over 74.
