Nobody was catching Cameron Young this week in Miami.
Young, after building up a dominant lead over the first two days, rolled to a six-shot win to claim the Cadillac Championship. Young started the final round at Doral with a six-shot advantage and cruised to his 4-under 68.
The win marked just the third of Young’s career, but his second in the past three months. He went wire-to-wire at the event without a single tie. It marked the second-largest win on Tour so far this season, behind only Justin Rose’s seven-shot win at Torrey Pines, and matched the largest win at Doral in Tour history.
FORMULA 1
Kimi Antonelli scored his third straight Formula 1 win in the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday. The 19-year-old got ahead of Lando Norris after each driver had pitted on lap 28. Antonelli, who pitted just before Norris, used his warmer tires to his advantage and snuck past Norris after the 2025 champion had exited the pits. Antonelli then cleared Max Verstappen — who had pitted much earlier because of a lap 1 spin — and was able to build a comfortable gap to Norris over the second half of the race.
NASCAR
Chase Elliott led 87 of 267 laps (more than any other driver) to win Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. He beat Denny Hamlin and Alex Bowman in a four-lap sprint to the checkered flag.
