Elnora utility customers are being notified of hydrant flushing scheduled for the week of April 20 through April 24.
Town officials say the routine maintenance may cause temporary discoloration or sediment in water lines.
Residents are advised to run water through faucets, tubs, showers, appliances and outdoor hydrants after their street has been flushed to clear any buildup.
Officials thank customers for their patience during the process.
