City of Washington limiting public meeting attendees

The City of Washington is taking measures to ensure the safety of public meeting attendees. Considering the current situation that all are facing with the COVID-19 crisis, the City is asking residents to keep attendance to a minimum. The Common Council and Board of Public Works & Safety meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday’s of each month at 6:30pm in the City Council Chambers. Mayor Rhoads is asking those that need to address one of these boards, to contact his office at (812)-254-5575 to be placed on the agenda of the next meeting and to discuss over the phone rather than in person.
