The Daviess County Democrat Party has a reorganizational meeting slated for this Saturday.
Last year’s county Democrat Chair Dave Crooks will not be continuing in that position so a new chair is being sought.
State Democrat Chair John Zody says if a new chair isn’t chosen in March then the state chair comes to reorganize the local party. WAMW spoke with Zody last week
Zody won’t be attending the caucus this weekend. It’ll be presided over by 8th District Chair Joanie Kanizer.
The caucus again is at the American Legion in Washington Saturday and it’s at 3-pm.
