Robert Allen owned the van that crashed in Gibson County last year that was carrying workers to Evansville.
A 53-year-old Washington man was arrested Sunday following a child molesting investigation. Robert D. Allen was booked into the Daviess County Security Center on two counts of child molesting. He was being held without bond. Allen was the owner of the van carrying workers to Vanderburgh County when it crashed last year killing two women and an unborn child. His son, James Allen was driving the van and pleaded guilty to nine felonies and is starting a 14 year prison sentence. Robert Allen was jailed on the child molesting charges at 12:25-am Sunday morning.
