Beverly Ann Mattingly Horst died Monday.
Beverly Ann Mattingly Horst, 80, of Montgomery, IN passed away at 4:50 a.m Monday, April 25, 2016, at her residence.
She was born March 8, 1936 in Cambridge, NE to Bernard M. and Martha (Weiler) Brown.
She was married to Les Horst of Montgomery for 24 years and he survives. Beverly was co-owner of H&M Farm Toys; she enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and traveling.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Dennis R. Mattingly;first husband John K. Mattingly parents, Martha and Bernard Brown; brothers, Gerald B. Brown and Joseph L. Brown step-dad Leroy G. Weiler.
She is survived by her husband, Les Horst of Montgomery; children, Michael J. Mattingly and friend Jean Wuertz of Shoals, Kenneth L. Mattingly and friend Jan Hubbard of Las Vegas, NV, Jolene (Marv) Wagler of Montgomery, Janet L. (Chris) Baugh of Loogootee, Melyanda E. (Spanks) Frederick of Salem, IL, Sherri L. (David) Nuckles of Bicknell, and Michael B. Horst of Freelandville; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Jolene Reeves of Duncan, OK.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Blake & Wagler Funeral Home in Montgomery, officiated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Blake and Wagler Funeral Home and Friday, April 29, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
