Roy Victor Wagler, 75, of Loogootee passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at home.

He was born in Daviess County to the late Abraham Simon and Elizabeth Corene (Wagler) Wagler.  He married Ida (Lengacher) Wagler on June 4, 1960.

He is survived by wife, Ida (Lengacher) Wagler; sons, Robert Wayne (Leanna) Wagler of Odon, Paul Owen (Diana) Wagler of Loogootee and Ronald Lee Wagler of Loogootee; daughters, Elizabeth Joan (Omer) Graber of Loogootee, Barbara Jean (Howard) Knepp of Loogootee, Karen Kay (John Elmer) Wagler of Plainville and Nancy Fern (Victor) Brandenberger of New Haven, IN; 35 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Rachel) Wagler of Cannelburg, Garry (Karen) Wagler of Plainfield and Darvin (Darla) Wagler of Loogootee; sisters, Rita (Harvey) Wittmer of Odon and Anna Mae (Wagler) Sweet of Sarasota, FL.; sister-in-law, Lydia (Henry) Graber of Montgomery; step mother, Amanda (Graber) Wagler.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham Simon and Elizabeth Corene (Wagler) Wagler and brothers, Ernest Dewayne Wagler and Delbert Ray Wagler.

Funeral services will be conductedat 9:30 a.m.on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at First Mennonite Church in Montgomery.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at First Mennonite Church. Visitation will also be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice.
