Daviess and Martin County have partnered again to host a free community event for National Suicide Awareness & Prevention month. The annual event will be held on Tuesday, September 28th at Eastside Park in Washington. The theme this year is “Strength Over Silence”. There will be food trucks, music, activities, and a Memory Walk. The “You are Not Alone” Memory Walk will take place at 8:00 pm and will be in memory of those who have lost their lives to suicide or substance abuse. It’s all happening at Eastside Park on Tuesday, September 28th, starting at 5:00 pm.
