Helping His Hands Ministry re-opens this Saturday, June 26, in Washington. The organization has been closed for the last 15 months due to the pandemic. Helping His Hands will be proving free clothing and household items for those in need from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm this Saturday. Rev. Cheryl Thorne says all persons with needs will be welcomed as guests. Only 10 guests will be able to enter at a time and masks will be required. They will have masks available. For urgent needs and to schedule a private appointment, call Westminster Presbyterian Church at (812)-254-4443. The church is located across from the courthouse at 110 NE 2nd Street in Washington.
