Barr Reeve defeated North Daviess in a hard fought game last night at the Cougar Den 40 to 38. Jaylen Mullen had 23 points to lead the Cougars. The Vikings move on to play for the championship tonight against Loogootee. The Lions advanced in game one topping Orleans 63 to 30. Barr Reeve and Loogootee will tip off at 7:30pm tonight. Doors will open at 6:45.
Tickets go on sale today at 9am at Barr Reeve High School. The Vikings have 800 tickets. Parents, siblings, grandparents and pass holders can get one ticket per pass starting at 9am. Then from 10am to noon Barr Reeve adult and student pass holders and pep band members can buy tickets. From noon to 2pm, Barr Reeve Community members and students can buy six tickets per person. Open sales for the remaining tickets start at 2pm today.
At the Washington 3A tournament, it took double overtime but Sullivan held on to beat Princeton in the semi-finals 60 to 56. Sullivan will now face Vincennes Lincoln in the championship as the Alices moved on by beating Pike Central in game one 48 to 36.
In 2A at Eastern Greene, North Knox plays for the championship tonight as they defeated Mitchell 44 to 33. The Warriors will face Linton for the championship tonight. Linton moved on by beating Eastern Greene 59 to 43.
