- Washington Police arrested 30-year-old Jason L. Christenberry on a writ of attachment on Saturday. Police were investigating a wanted person at 1106 McCormick Avenue when police reports say Christen berry went out of a back window but was apprehended quickly. He was jailed on a $1600 bond.
- 42-year-old Max E. Benefiel was arrested Saturday and charged on a writ of attachment. Bond was set at $2300. Benefiel was taken into custody after a traffic stop on Saturday night at Vincennes and Northwest 8th Street.
- The Washington Police Department continues to participate in operation pull over. An officer conducted patrols from about 2 to 4 on Sunday, from 8:45 to 10:45 Saturday morning, and 1 to 3 on Saturday. Throughout those times there were about 30 citations written for seatbelt violations. Motorists are reminded to buckle up.
