Wiley Benton Jr., 73, of Petersburg, passed away at 3:08 pm Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville.
He was born September 29, 1946 in Lawrence County, Illinois to Wiley and Mary (Sutton) Benton Sr.
Wiley worked as a clerk at the hardware store and also for Pike County ARC.
Surviving are his siblings Ray Murphy of Vincennes, Billey Benton of Lawrenceville, and Ronald Benton of Pennsylvania.
Private graveside services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Trevor Murry officiating.
