
Washington Mayor Dave Rhoads gave his first State of the City Address at last night’s Washington City Council Meeting.
He highlighted two projects his administration has aquired including the Business 50 Improvement Project. The East Side of the rehabilitation is complete. The West side work will start this spring. Mayor Rhoads also highlighted 2019 accomplishments and events in Washington and Daviess County. He mentioned an expansion of Indiana Safety Supply and Animal Control’s addition of an outside kennel; the completion of the Evansville Teacher’s Credit Union and the new Goodwill facility. The Mayor also talked about what’s coming up in 2020
