A work based learning program for area companies is coming to Odon next week.

Business leaders and owners in Daviess, Martin, Greene and surrounding counties are invited to learn about the state of Indiana’s new Office of Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship and how it can help address workforce development needs.  The new office was created this past March by an executive order signed by the governor.  It is tasked with improving and creating state initiatives to increase “earn and learn” and other work based learning opportunities throughout the state.

There’s a 10-am program Thursday November 1st at the Westgate Academy.  . The same program will be presented at the same time at Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington.
