Area authorities are advising residents to slow down and be very cautious in the current weather conditions.
Precipitation will continue to fall for the next few hours before tapering off. A Winter Storm Warning is still in effect until 10 tonight calling for up to 2 to 4 inches of snow. There’s already been some ice accumulation as sleet has been coming down on and off since about 2-am.

The street commissioner recommends a speed of under 30 in town and leave plenty of room to make stops and signs and for other vehicles.
