A pursuit of a wanted felon starting in Vanderburgh County came to a peaceful end Thursday night in Dubois County.

At 9:05 P.M. (Eastern) Thursday, Indiana State Police was informed that Vanderburgh County law enforcement was in pursuit of a tan Audi A4 northbound on Interstate 69 near the 12 mile marker. The pursuit had begun in Evansville, as the driver, 37-year-old Brandon L. Ferrari of Evansville was wanted on felony drug charges and refused to pull over.
Troopers deployed tire deflation devices near the 19 mile marker of I-69 and had believed that Ferrari drove over them; however, the vehicle continued to flee northbound. Once reaching Interstate 64, Ferrari drove east, leading officers into Warrick County along I-64. With speeds reaching over 120 miles per hour, Warrick County deputies attempted to deploy tire deflation devices near the 53 mile marker, but were unsuccessful.
