Alice Faye Stone, 66, of Ingalls, Indiana, formerly of Loogootee, passed away at her residence at 3:37 a.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Born on January 15, 1950 in Daviess County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late George and Mamie (Street) Parsons. She married Michael Stone in June of 1972 in Shoals, Indiana. While residing in Texas, Alice was a service station clerk, and upon returning to Indiana she worked in home health care and was a devoted caregiver to many.
She is survived by husband, Michael Stone of Ingalls; daughter, Michelle Stone-Estrada of Clute, Texas; son, Travis Stone of Clute, Texas; step-son, Michael Stone Jr of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Josiah Estrada, Noah Grant, Crystal Estrada, Alissa Estrada, Jordan and Tiara Stone; great-grandchildren Arian and Kai; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby, and husband, Gerald Wilcoxen of Shoals; and Mildred, and husband, Chris Cloud of Ingalls.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Vivian Franklin, Maudie Faith, and brothers, Michael Parsons, Les Parsons, Sam Parsons, Junior Parsons, and George Lee Parsons.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 15, 2016 until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
