Bonita Kay Wiscaver, 60, of Petersburg, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of dealing methamphetamine in Pike County. According to court officials, Pike Circuit Court Judge Evan Biesterveld handed down the sentence Monday following Wiscaver’s April conviction on charges including dealing methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. Prosecutors said the charges stemmed from a 2025 search warrant at a Petersburg property where deputies found approximately 9.5 grams of methamphetamine divided into multiple baggies inside a camper. Authorities said the investigation also included a recorded statement in which Wiscaver admitted to purchasing and redistributing methamphetamine in the community. Officials noted the activity occurred near Petersburg Elementary School. The court cited Wiscaver’s prior criminal history as an aggravating factor in sentencing.
