NBA LOTTERY
The Washington Wizards won the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft Lottery on Sunday, a big win with the potential to secure a franchise player. The Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies and Chicago Bulls will pick second through fourth.The Los Angeles Clippers secured the No. 5 pick via a trade from the Indiana Pacers. The pick was top-4 protected for Indiana, but when they landed outside of those picks, the selection conveyed to the Clippers. The Wizards were tied with the Pacers and Brooklyn Nets for the best odds to win the lottery. The Pacers won’t have a selection in the lottery or the first round after falling out of the top 4. The Nets will pick at No. 6.

After coming in as the favorite — both as the defending race champion, and from being in pole position — Shane van Gisbergen held on to secure his first win of the season. Van Gisbergen led for a total of 74 laps in the 100-lap event, besting Michael McDowell and Ty Gibbs for first place

Christian Lundgaard pulled off a remarkable move on David Malukas to win the Sonsio Grand Prix at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course. The 24-year-old Dane made an outside pass with 18 laps to go in Turn 4 en route to securing the second win of his career.
