Daviess Community Hospital recognized Rare Disease Month in February by partnering with Little Warrior Wishes, Inc., a nonprofit that supports children with chronic and life-limiting conditions. Throughout the month, DCH displayed a Rare Disease Awareness banner on its campus to highlight the impact rare diseases have on more than 300 million people worldwide. Hospital leaders and representatives from Little Warrior Wishes gathered for a photo alongside the banner during the month-long observance.

Pictured are DCH Chief Nursing Officer Jenna Bedwell, MSN, RN, NE-BC; Chief Operating Officer Dave Graber, PT, MPT, ATC; Little Warrior Wishes Founder and Board Member Teeny Davis, LWW volunteer Beth Davis, and LWW volunteer Rebecca Bolton next to the Rare Disease Awareness banner displayed on the DCH campus throughout February.
