A Bloomington man has been arrested in connection with a shooting during Little 500 weekend that left multiple people injured. Police say 18-year-old Lewis James May was taken into custody May 5 and is facing felony charges including battery, criminal recklessness, and pointing a firearm. The charges stem from an April 26 incident on Kirkwood Avenue, where shots were fired into a crowd, injuring several people with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and May is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
