Cheri L. Broach – Kebert, 69, of Shoals, Indiana passed away on Friday May 1, 2026 at the Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus in Merrillville, Indiana.
She was born on January 7, 1957 in Hammond, Indiana. Cheri worked as an Indiana registered Pharmacy Technician during her career. She had a great love for animals and supported the Humane Society. Cheri enjoyed spending time with her husband, especially traveling together on many trips out of the country. They also loved to fish and sharing quiet and happy moments together. She will be remembered for her kind heart and will be deeply missed.
Cheri was preceded in death by, her father, Alvin “Bob” Broach, her brother William “Joe” Broach.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Kebert of Shoals, Indiana, her brother, Terrance Broach of Demont, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Very Rev. J. Kenneth Walker on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. EDST, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery Barr Township. Visitation will be held on the same day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. EDST at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Martin County Humane Society in Cheri’s memory.
