The Daviess County Commissioners will meet Tuesday, April 14 at 9 a.m. at the Government Center in Washington. Commissioners are expected to review project updates from the Highway Department, consider approval for a new position requested by Judge Greg Smith, and discuss contracts, grant applications, and updates from local economic development groups. They will also review payroll and claims dockets, along with routine reports from county departments. Earlier that morning, the Daviess County Redevelopment Commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. to discuss items including its annual TIF report, a YMCA letter of intent, and updates from economic development representatives.
