The Daviess Community Hospital Foundation hosted its first-ever pickleball tournament June 27–29, honoring the late Dr. Suresh Lohano, a beloved physician. Held at the Daviess County Pickleball Courts, the event drew hundreds of participants and spectators. The tournament featured youth and adult brackets, with players from across Indiana and Kentucky competing. Proceeds will fund a healthcare scholarship in Dr. Lohano’s name, with the event expected to raise around $20,000. Family, community leaders, and organizers praised Dr. Lohano’s legacy and expressed hope for making the tournament an annual tradition.
