Jasper Police Department’s K9 Gator is set to receive a bullet and stab protective vest, courtesy of the non-profit organization Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. The vest will be embroidered with the sentiment, ‘In memory of Uncle Boo.’ Expected within eight to ten weeks, the vest is part of Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.’s mission to provide protection to law enforcement K9s across the United States. To date, the organization has supplied over 5,379 vests, valued at $6.9 million, to K9s nationwide.
