Jasper, IN — On October 30, Jasper resident Earl Branham Jr., aged 66, was arrested and charged with child molestation-related offenses. The arrest followed an investigation initiated on October 20 by the Jasper Police Department in response to allegations of child molestation. Authorities established probable cause that Earl Branham Jr. had engaged in sexual contact with a female under the age of 14. Detectives from the Jasper Police Department conducted an interview with Mr. Branham Jr., leading to his subsequent arrest. Branham Jr. faces multiple charges, including attempted child molesting (Level 4 felony), child molesting (Level 4 felony), neglect of a dependent (Level 6 felony), and exhibiting an obscene performance (Class A misdemeanor). He was transported to the Dubois County Security Center.
