Daviess County Fair 2023: Audrey Jerger Crowned as Fair Queen, Alyssa Mozingo Takes Junior Miss Title

The 2023 Daviess County Fair Queen was crowned at the fairgrounds last night. Congratulations to Audrey Jerger, a senior at Washington Catholic, who received the title. First runner-up was Maggie Lee; second runner-up was Ellie Smith; and third runner-up was Daysha Haag. The Miss Congeniality was Maggie Lee, and the People’s Choice winner was Audrey Jerger. In the first ever Junior Miss Competition for contestants 14–17 years old, the 2023 Daviess County Junior Miss is Alyssa Mozingo. The first runner-up was Tavie Potts, and the second runner-up was Priesley Armes. Mozingo was also crowned People’s Choice winner, while Armes was named Miss Congeniality. Tonight at the Fair, the rides and midway open at 6 p.m. with unlimited ride armbands for $20; the Community Arts Building will also open at 6 p.m.; Kool-Ade the Clown will be on the grounds from 7 to 9 p.m.; and the Teeny and Little Miss and Mister Contest will be on the Stage at 7 p.m. The Kids Pedal Tractor Pull begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds in Elnora.
