A man from Indiana, William Wilkerson, was arrested last week after surveillance video from a scrapyard in Bloomington linked him to his involvement in the Capitol riots two years ago. Wilkerson faces four misdemeanor charges for unlawfully entering the U.S. Capitol. During a routine ID check at the scrapyard, the dealer noticed that Wilkerson’s face matched that of an individual captured on video inside the Capitol. In February 2022, a witness also identified Wilkerson from a photo taken inside the Capitol.
