The Indiana State Police, Martin County Sheriff’s Department, and Loogootee Police arrested a Loogootee man yesterday on possession of child pornography charges. 45-year-old Ryan Watkins of Loogootee was charged with three counts of child pornography under 12 years old, a level five felony. Cyber tip reports led officers to receive a search warrant for the home of Watkins at 604 North JFK Avenue, Apartment 14, in Loogootee. Officers were able to track down Watkins during a traffic stop on US 50 and lodge him in the Martin County Jail on the charges without incident. The investigation continues.
