The Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, together with Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, has announced that the first round of applications for the 2023 Community Development Block Grants is now open. Among the programs currently accepting applications is the Public Facilities Program, which offers a maximum grant award of $500,000 for all projects under this program. However, a local match of 10% of the total project cost must be provided for consideration of funding. The amount of CDBG funds granted will be based on a cost of $5,000 per project beneficiary.
