The Martin County Alliance is partnering with the Martin County Chamber of Commerce this year on hosting the annual community dinner. The event will be held at the St. John’s Center Lower Level in Loogootee this Thursday night at 6 p.m. The Gene Shaw Award will be presented, and two scholarship winners will be announced, one from Loogootee and one from Shoals. The Organization and Business of the Year will also be presented, and the guest speaker for the night will be Denny Spinner, the director of OCRA. Tickets are $25 and available at Crane Credit Union, German American Bank, or the Martin County Chamber office. Once again, the Martin County Alliance and Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner will be this Thursday night at 6 p.m. at the St. John’s Center, lower level, in Loogootee.
