On Sunday, December 25th, a caller reported a male that had been hit in the head with a hammer.
Josh Alvey was the victim and was uninjured.
He refused treatment several times from first responders.
Cameron Morris is the suspect, and he was reported to have taken off running east with the hammer still in his hand.
Morris was apprehended shortly after fleeing and charged with Battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
