$1 Million Grant to DCH For New Community Paramedic Program

Daviess Community Hospital has received a grant totaling nearly $1 million from the Indiana Department of Health to establish a community paramedic program as part of the state’s Health Issues and Challenges program. The newly formed Mobile Integrated Health is now available, and Larry Stots says it was established and really moved forward following the pandemic…

The Community Paramedic Program is a patient-centered model of care delivered in a patient’s home. Molly Earhart says this allows the paramedics to come into the home and assess the patient’s needs and work to meet those needs in the home.
