Comforting Hearts is on a mission to bring more inclusiveness to Washington.
The non-profit was started back in March as a support group for parents and siblings of those with different abilities.
Teany Davis says the group is now working with the Park’s Department to get playground equipment in Longfellow Park that allows accessibility for all children…
The group is trying to raise $450,000 for the project.
A meeting will be held tonight at 6:00 pm at Free Methodist Church for those who would like more information about how to get involved.
