East Fork Water in Shoals has announced that customers are currently under a boil order until further notice.
The company says the Whitfield water tanks have experienced an interruption of water service.
They say the order will stand for the next few days.
Customers are asked to boil water for several minutes prior to use and then cool and store in the refrigerator.
You should only use boiled water for drinking, brushing your teeth, and for food preparation.
