Several closures have been announced because of the ice storm.
On the school front, all Daviess County Schools are closed today. Washington, Washington Catholic, Barr Reeve, and North Davies are on eLearning. Pike County, Shoals, and Loogootee Schools are also on eLearning.
The Washington vs Vincennes Boys basketball game is postponed tonight. The Barr Reeve vs Jasper game is also postponed. Most high school sporting events are cancelled for today.
All Washington and Daviess County Offices are closed along with the Daviess County Landfill. There will be no trash pickup today. Residents with Thursday trash pickup are asked to have their trash ready for pick up by 7:00 am tomorrow morning. The Recycling Center will also be closed, and the City Transit will not be operating today.
Petersburg City Hall is also closed.
All DCH clinics, including Quick Care, are closed.
All Good Samaritan Physician Network offices will remain open at this time, however, some travel may be delayed. Patients who are not able to travel are asked to please contact the office to reschedule. The Good Samaritan Community Health Services free lipid screening at the Vincennes St. Vincent DePaul has been rescheduled for 2/8/22 from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm.
