According to a probable cause affidavit submitted to the Gibson County Court yesterday, Deputies were dispatched after members of the victim’s family and not seen the victim since October 3, and were not able to contact her.  The affidavit says a family member noticed a grey tarp in the woods and alerted investigators who lifted part of the tarp and discovered a lifeless female body wrapped in blood stained cloth.  The victim had several stab wounds.  Blood was also found near a patio door.   According to law enforcement officers, 47 year old David Owen Crowe admitted to stabbing the victim on the morning of October 4.   Crow also showed officers two knives he said were used in the stabbing and told them where to find the victims personal items.  Crowe is being held in the Gibson County Jail without bond on a murder charge.   The identity of the victim has not been released.
