Loogootee Community Schools Superintendent Chip Mehaffey is retiring.
He made the announcement this week in a letter to the Loogootee Community.
He has served as Superintendent since 2016 and will officially be leaving the school corporation in the summer of 2022.
While Mehaffey is retiring from Loogootee Schools, he will be hard at work with Athletes in Action – a global organization that works to change the culture of sports by leading coaches and players to Christ.
Mehaffey says it is an honor and privilege to be a Lion and that he looks forward to finishing the schools year strong.
