Just before 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department was called to a hit-and-run accident involving a school bus at the intersection of US 231 and CR 1200 N. The caller reported no injuries. Sheriff’s deputies were able to obtain the name of a possible hit-and-run suspect and went to his residence.
The Daviess County Security Center reports that 19 year old Gage Shands of Odon was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. His bond was set at $2,000.
