It’s almost time to head back to the classroom.
The first official day back for Washington Community Schools students will be Thursday, August 5th.
Wednesday Early Release will once again be in effect starting August 11th. Dismissal varies slightly for each school to accommodate bus schedules and the early release schedule.
Masks will be optional for students while in school buildings but will be required on school buses per federal mandate. A full back to school plan can viewed on the Washington Community Schools website. The plan has been approved by the local Health Department.
In addition, the Daviess County Health Department will be hosting Back to School Vaccination clinics today and tomorrow from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Daviess County Health Department. To make an appointment, call (812)-254-8666.
