A trial date has been set for the man arrested in connection to a Knox County cold case.
Gustav Ryburn was arrested and recently extradited to Knox County from Florida.
Police say he sexually assaulted and severely battered a 21-year-old woman back in 2008.
The investigation heated up when police were able to obtain a digital composite of the suspects face back in January.
Ryburn is set to appear in court on September 14th at 9am.
Ryburn is charged with rape, battery, strangulation, and burglary.
